Welcome to the Shirehampton A.R.C. web site. Shirehampton is located near the mouth of the Avon about 1 mile from the port of Avonmouth and 5 miles from the city of Bristol. The club holds the callsign GX4AHG and can be heard on both HF & VHF most Friday evenings

The club meets every Friday other than over Xmas from 19:30 to approx 22:00 at the Signal Station located within "TS Enterprise Sea Cadets" at the end of Station Road.

Shirehampton Club is small but very friendly. We see ourselves as the most forward thinking when it comes to new technology, modes, radio related computer software. No matter what your interest is within the radio or electronics field someone at Shirehampton ARC will always be willing to discuss it with you.

The club runs both Foundation and Intermediate courses and we are happy to teach people of any ability, you do not need to have a background in electronics or radio. If you are interested in taking a course or just want to find out more please contact our secretary using the link below.
